Oktoberfest is back! Oktoberfest is an annual festival that originated in Munich, Germany, and is usually held over a two-week period from September to the first Sunday in October.
Lots of countries, Singapore included, hold these Munich-style Oktoberfests featuring plenty of German beer, Bavarian food and a party-like vibe in an attempt to reproduce the Bavarian sense of Gemütlichkeit – cordiality.
