Hailing from Austria, Gerhard Lanyi is no new-comer to Brotzeit’s culture and culinary offer.
With more than 16 years of experience in leading food and beverage role under his belt, Gerhard is heading up all Franchise activities and international development of the Brotzeit Group as of May 2019.
Following his graduation with masters in Tourism Management/Hospitality in Austria and the US, and a short career stint with an Austria Fine Dining Group, Gerhard set foot on Asian soil in 2004; he has since called the region his second home.
Over 15 years following Gerhard’s arrival to Asia, he has operated, owned and scaled food service businesses in Singapore, Vietnam, China, opening F&B venus in excess of 25 outlets and leading market-entry missions across the region.
Next to Gerhard’s excellent full-circle operational track record, he’s become a passionate and experienced F&B retail marketer and branding expert, and so, Gerhard has taken strategic leadership of these topics for the group as well.
